Debbie was born in Tanzania. She retuned to Britain as a child and grew up in County Durham, Sussex and Dorset. She now lives by the Thames Estuary in Essex.

Over the last twenty years she has enjoyed collaborating with schools, local councils and other groups on a variety of different projects; creating murals, mosaics and curating exhibitions. She currently teaches Art and Design at a Pupil Referal Unit.

Debbie has exhibited in many group shows around the UK including at the Brighton Festival and for the British Association of Modern Mosaic.

She was a founding member of Studio11 Gallery in Westcliff - on - Sea, Essex where she had a number of solo and curated exhibitions between 2008 -2016.
